Jimmy and JoJo... Two of the most wonderful people my family has ever had the pleasure of knowing... We could go for years without a visit, yet it felt like a day had not passed when we would reunite! Indeed, Savannah will never be the same... I can only imagine the celebration, as they join my grandmother, grandfather, and father in heaven... What an amazing bunch!!! Love to the McLaughlin family always.

To My dear Savannah McLaughlin cousins and family, I am sending my deepest condolences on the loss of both Jim and JoJo. Words cannot exoress the sorrow I felt when I heard the news at church at Sacred Heart. I know your hearts are breaking. I am praying for the peace and love that only God can give for all of you. May He hold you all tightly in His hand so you can feel His comfort. I am one of the Charleston McLaughlins that got to know Jim and JoJo through my father John Francis McLaughlin Sr (Dr Mac). They would always attend our family reunions and kept us in the loop about our Savannah family. When I got married and moved to Savannah in 1978 we bought our first home on 50th street one block away from Jim and JoJo. Their door was always open to us. We would see them at Blessed Sacrament and later while attending Sacred Heart.
