Robert Paige Frew, 65, of Ashburn, Georgia passed away Sunday, September 27, 2015 in Tifton, Georgia.
Born on February 18, 1950, he was the son of the late Richard Earl and Janet Robinson Frew. He was a member of Our Divine Catholic Church in Tifton, Georgia. He was also a member of The American Legion Post #98 in Sycamore, Georgia having served his country in the United States Army in the Vietnam War. Robert was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal W/60 Device, Bronze Star Medal, and Purple Heart.
He is survived by a special friend, Lynn Odom of Ashburn; sister, Donna (Michael) Dziedzic of New Berlin, Wisconsin; Aunt, Lorraine O. Frew of Savannah; Uncles, Donald W. Frew of Savannah, Francis L. Frew of Springfield Vermont, and Joseph G. Frew of Cape Cod Massachusetts. Survivors also include a niece and nephew.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, September 29, 2015 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Perry Funeral Chapel in Ashburn.
In Savannah, visitation will be at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 1, 2015, at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 a.m. with burial in the Catholic Cemetery.
