Lemuel Waters

Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Wednesday, September 30, 2015, Mr. Lemuel Foy Waters, Jr., 77, loving husband to Janice Kinsey Waters.

Mr. Waters was employed at Georgia Power for 30 years in various locations and has been retired for 21 years. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, his true passion was his children and grandchildren, and he was a devoted husband. Mr. Waters was a Christian and his faith in Jesus Christ was exemplified by the way he led his life.

Family members, in addition to his beloved wife, include his children: David Foy Waters (Janet) and Diann W. Banks (Lee); grandchildren: Neilsen D. Waters, Kinsey G. Waters, McCall C. Waters, Courtney B. Johnson (James), Dustin C. Banks, and Taylor B. Banks; brothers: Robert D. Waters (Shirley) and Dennis Foy Waters (Donna); sister-in-law: Beatrice K. Peeples (Samuel); brother-in-law: William N. Kinsey (Teresa); 5 nieces and 5 nephews.

A graveside service will be Friday, October 2, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. in Bonaventure Cemetery in Savannah, GA with Dr. Arch Culbreth officiating.

I would like to express my condolences to the family of Mr. waters. No doubt many will feel the loss of such a dear loved one. May you all find comfort in the loving promise found at Revelation 21:4 "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away."
