Donna Erickson Tully
January 11, 1936 - October 05, 2015
Savannah - Donna Erickson Tully, 79, passed away Monday, October 5, 2015 at the Habersham House. She was born in Logan, West Virginia, daughter of Charlie O. and Ethel Grant Merritt Erickson. She was a graduate of Man High School and received a bachelor’s degree in education from the University of West Virginia. Mrs. Tully taught Spanish and English in Huntington, West Virginia prior to moving to Savannah in 1964. She was a longtime member of Epworth United Methodist Church; Huntington Women’s Club, an avid bridge player and also played the piano at the Candler Hospital Chapel for many years. Her brother, Charles F. Erickson preceded her in death.
Surviving are her children, Michael W. McKeever (Paula) of Rincon; Lisa A. McKeever of Savannah; Marc D. McKeever of Midway; Scott E. McKeever (Stephanie) of Savannah; Greg C. McKeever (Andrea) of Savannah; sister, Myrah Scott (Lee) of Chapel Hill, NC; nine grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Thursday, October 8, 2015 at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel.
The funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, October 9, 2015 at Isle of Hope United Methodist Church. Interment will follow in the Greenwich section of Bonaventure Cemetery.
