Savannah- Carl Trant, 85, passed away Wednesday, October 28, 2015 surrounded by his two daughters. Carl was born March 5, 1930 in Westville, Florida. He served in the 82^nd Army Airborne as a paratrooper during the Korean War. Carl enjoyed planting flowers and playing Bingo. His son, Franklin Trant preceded him in death.

Surviving are his life companion, June Barnish; daughters, Mary Tyler and Sally Brasslett; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 31, 2015 at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel.
