GUEST BOOK

Wendy had such a fun spirit for life who, unlike most, was able to carry her zest for living throughout the decades of her life, on the good days and the tough challenges. The way she lived her life was inspiring as the lighthouses that shared with the world. Glow on!

My most heartfelt sympathy for your loss of a truly amazing woman. I met her a couple of years ago when a former coworker of Wendy's (Genise Collins) and I were are a 4-day bus trip to Savannah and Charleston. We were able to have lunch in Savannah and I was immediately struck with how very special she was. Through her book, Facebook, etc., I came to know her more. I even gifted her with a cup with her dog on it to cheer her. There is definitely a new star in the heavens...glowing very brightly. I am so glad our paths crossed, however briefly. Wendy was put on this earth to show us what strength, love and positivity is all about.

How very blessed we were by just knowing Wendy. The past few years we've been snowbirds at Tybee , volunteers at the Lightstation and quickly became friends with Wendy. She was so effervescent and kind to all. Her excitement overflowed when Jim played morning or evening colors for the flag raising or lowering. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Wendy was such a blessing to all who met her. She always had a smile on her face and a terrific sense of humor. She was a blessing to all breast cancer survivors and will be truly missed by all. Wendy, keep your "Glow" on for all who knew and will miss you, as well as, those who will come to know of your strength and spirit. Rest in Peace my dear Friend & Survivor Sister. I Love and Miss You Dearly!

Wendy was an inspiration to us all: courageous, determined, empathetic, and a wonderful person. In my own times of crises, she reached out to me personally and made a difference in my life. After retirement, she shared so much of the fruit of her hobby, professional, stunning photos of the natural world around her. Her artistry made me jealous and prompted me to buy a better camera but my photographic skills will never reach her level. Wendy, thank you for allowing us to share your life. You have been a beacon of faith, courage, and love. And sorely missed.
