Matthew 25:21 21 His master said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant.[a] You have been faithful over a little; I will set you over much. Enter into the joy of your master.’ Pat and Family, words cannot express the pain I feel over the loss of our dear Commander and Chief, Sheriff St Lawrence. I have enjoyed working with him for the past 22 1/2 years and I take it as an honor and a priviledge to have met him. He was Fair and stern and a man of a few words, but, he spoke volumes when he spoke. He wasn't loud, but, you heard him loud and clear. He was a TRUE Law Enforcement Officer as well as a gentlemen. He was admired by so many, to include myself. He will be sadly missed by the Chatham County community as well as those in the surounding law enforcement areas. Take comfort in knowing that he truly loved his family and he worked hard to ensure that you were well taken care of. He is now resting in the comfort of God's arm and it is well with his soul. If at anytime in the future I can be of any service to you, please feel free to call on me. God loves you and so do I.

May God be pleased with his life and grant him eternal rest. May God bless his family, friends, and all who served with him and under his command. Retired Captain Ronald R. Richardson
- Ronald R. Richardson, Savannah, Ga.
Al and my dad (Jim Head) shared a love for the law and for what is right in this world. I remember meeting him for the first time when I was a little girl. Chatham County has lost another champion of justice. My thoughts and prayers are with the St. Lawrence family.
