Savannah- Richard Evans “Ricky” Duffy died at home, on Thursday morning, December 3, 2015, surrounded by his family that he loved so much. Ricky was born October 23, 1950. He graduated from Savannah High School in 1968 and he was the owner of The Gun Shop in Savannah for 37 years.
Ricky is pre-deceased by his father and mother, Robert and Mary Duffy. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Patricia Norris Duffy; Son, Richard Tyson “Ty” Duffy (Amanda); Daughter, Maryann Duffy Dewberry (Jimmy); Grandsons Cooper Mercer Dewberry, James Dewberry; Granddaughter, Morgan Dewberry. He is also survived by a brother, Jimmy Duffy and sister, Barbara Feemster (Dwight), along with several Nieces and Nephews.
Ricky was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, friend and “Poppy.”
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider making a donation in his memory to U.S Special Operations Care Coalition (US SOCOM Care Coalition), Faith Primitive Baptist Church, or Hospice of Savannah.
A Memorial Service for Richard Duffy will be held at the Faith Primitive Baptist Church at 2:00 PM on Saturday, December, 5th.

I really can't remember not knowing Ricky. He was a grade ahead at Savannah High but he was always there. I was in his shop downtown so often before he moved it south they sent my mail there, at least the bills from buying guns. RIP my friend and my condolences to you Pat and the rest of the family.
