Thomas Brannen Sanders, Jr.

Thomas Brannen Sanders, Jr., 89, passed away Friday, December 11, 2015 at the Habersham House. He was born in Savannah, son of the late Thomas B. Sanders, Sr. and Hattie Mae Sanders. He was a graduate of Savannah High School and was retired from Union Camp. Mr. Sanders was a veteran of the Merchant Marines serving during World War II.

Surviving his wife of 69 years, Rosemary Schomburg Sanders of Savannah; children, Thomas B. Sanders , III (Sharon) of Miami, FL; Ginger (Mike) Robertson, Carol (Sam) Coppola all of Savannah; grandchildren, Erin (Joe) Bailey, Thomas B. Sanders, IV, Padraic (Emilee) Robertson, Samuel Coppola, Elizabeth Coppola and four great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., Sunday, December 13, 2015 at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Islands Chapel with a Rosary Service at 6:00 p.m.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m., Monday, December 14, 2015 at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church.

Interment will follow in Hillcrest Abbey Memorial Park.
