Grace Motes Faircloth
June 06, 1925 - December 14, 2015
Savannah - Grace Motes Faircloth, 90, passed away Monday, December 14, 2015 at Memorial University Medical Center. Mrs. Faircloth was born in Portal, Georgia June 6, 1925 to Lenard and Olar Sparks Motes. She retired from Derst Bakery after twenty years of service. Her greatest joy was caring for her family. She was a long-time member of Holy Church of God. Her husband, George Allen Faircloth, Sr. preceded her in death.
Surviving her are siblings - Beatrice Faircloth, Sara Wilson, Gloria Barnes, and Eugene Motes; children - Geraldine and husband Wayne Head, Gerald and wife Rita, Allen and wife Genie, Robert and wife Kelly; grandchildren - Adam and wife Amy, David and wife Misty, Hunter and wife Janelle, Allyson, Tyler, Erin, and Ansley; great grandchildren - Garrett, Blake, and Kennedy.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 17, 2015 at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel.
Funeral Service will be at 10:00 a.m., Friday, December 18, 2015 at Holy Church of God. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Abbey Memorial Park.
Remembrances may be made to Holy Church of God, Heritage Seminary, 474 Little Neck Rd. Savannah, GA 31419.
My dear family, you all are in my heart and prayers. I weep with you over the loss of Aunt Grace. How she will be truly missed. I take comfort in knowing we will be with her again.
