About 20 yrs. ago I met Lindsey. I've known her so long I can't quite remember. She came to work with us at LifePine not long out of school full of enthusiasm and vinegar. She was driven, dynamic and energetic. And we loved her for that. She worked hard, learned a lot and taught us a lot in the process. She could command any room with no effort and always voiced her opinions no matter how outrageous, she was usually right. And we loved her for it. My wife Christine reminded me of the first time she meet Lindsay. Not long after Tucker Lumber bought LifePine, Lindsay went to work for them in the small town of Pageland SC. Christine came up for a Christmas party and Lindsay told her about some of the southern traditions at Tucker lumber. Founded in 1920 and a very old school southern company, Lindsay was their first female salesman. Once every Wednesday, all the women that worked in the office were asked to bring a covered dish for lunch and the entire office staff had a feast. Then promptly following lunch, all the females would clean up and put away the dishes while the guys would go out back to smoke and chew or whatever. Well Lindsay was the first female employee in the 80 yr Tucker history to say "No Way!!!! (putting it nicely, which would probably disappoint Lindsay)..... I'm not cooking and cleaning up after all those lazy old men. They can clean up after themselves!" I can't think of another person I have ever met that would do that, and get away with it, and actually garner some respect from the old school guys in Tuckerville, but she did. Lindsay told them just how it was. And we loved her for it. Not long after we bought LifePine back around 2011, I spoke to my brother Mike and said that we really needed to hire someone to do the marketing and promotion for LifePine. He said "I already hired someone and she is coming in at 10". After not seeing much of her for a few years, in walked Lindsay and the old team was back together. Not long after she got sick. She fought harder and endured more that anyone I ever met. And she kept coming to work with the same enthusiasm and vinegar she always had. And we loved hot for it. There will never be another Lindsay. Ever. She was one of a kind. And we loved her for it. I will never forget her.

Crazy how years will get between people, like 15 or more and then you see their picture here. I knew Lindsay from downtown Savannah and seems like she lived in the same building I did for awhile. We goofed off here and there and saw each other often. What I remember is she had a great zeal and sense of humor and could always make me chuckle or not take myself so seriously which I often did. My heart goes out to her family and friends. She was seriously a good one and just can't believe this.

Lindsay was truly a gift from God. She came into my life in high school when I came to SCPS. She was one of my first friends. She was so sweet and had the best laugh. I saw her a few times during our college years, and we picked up right where we had left off. Always laughing. Our 10 year high school reunion she was so excited because her little sister Raegen had just gotten engaged! She gushed on and on about how happy she was for her sister. In later years we kept up through social media as I moved around so much. I talked to her when she first had Lillian. She was her sweet miracle. We messaged each other all the way up until very recently and I am so glad that I had a small part in her life. I will pray for her entire family and especially her daughter and husband. Heaven definitely gained a beautiful angel on Monday. All my condolences, Sarah

Words are simply inadequate to express how broken hearted I feel over Lindsey's passing. I know the strength and love she received from being surrounded by her family and friends kept her going as she struggled through this fight. My continued thoughts and prayers as you feel her loss in the coming days and may you find comfort in knowing she is smiling and whole again and watching over you from a much higher place. Truly makes the words "an angel has her wings" very real.

NO words can express how deeply saddened we were to hear about Lindsay. Your family is an inspiration to all of us. Your faith never waivered. Lindsay struggled so hard to make sure she did everything she could to live a full life, unfortunately God had other plans for her and needed another angel. We are saddened, but Lindsay now has her wings and will be singing in God's heavenly choir waiting patiently to be joined by those left behind. Much love and prayers to your family.
