February 27, 1955 - January 04, 2016

Marsha Elizabeth Bertran

SAVANNAH - Marsha Elizabeth Bertran, age 60, passed away peacefully on the evening of Monday, January 4, 2016, at Hospice Savannah.

Marsha was born on February 27, 1955, to parents William and Dorothy (Haynes) Ware in Chattanooga, TN. With her parents and older brother John, she relocated to Tampa, FL, where she grew up and then later met the love of her life, Tony Bertran. After a mutual relocation, they married & settled in Mansfield, TX on September 4, 1982.

Together they had their only daughter Stephanie, whom Marsha affectionately called “Stephie”. She received great joy in caring for her family and will be remembered as a fiercely devoted wife, mother, sister, and friend. Marsha also had a natural talent for Interior Design, and was blessed to have it serve as both a career and as her passion throughout her adult life.

She is survived by her husband, Tony, her daughter, Stephanie (with husband, Brent) Stevens, one grandson, Isaac Stevens, her father/mother in-laws Joe & Beba Hall, brother/sister in-laws Jorge & Mary Ann Gojman, together with her brother, John Branton and niece Jessica (with husband, Brent Perry)

Locally, the family will have a private memorial gathering to celebrate her life. After her cremation, scattering of her ashes will take place in a favorite personal location outside of Chattanooga, TN.

Remembrances may be made to Hospice Savannah (hospicesavannah.org) or to the American Lung Association (lung.org).

Marsha’s Guest Book is available online at www.foxandweeks.com where condolences to the immediate family on her behalf may also be expressed.
