Alexander Arthur Lucas

Savannah- Alexander Arthur Lucas, 26, passed away suddenly from injuries sustained in an accident January 9, 2016. Alex was born in Lafayette, LA and lived in Savannah most of his life. He worked as an automobile mechanic and was a member of St. Peter’s Episcopal Church. He was preceded in death by his father, Michael Arthur Lucas.

Alex is survived by his mother, Wanda Parrish Lucas, eight siblings and their partners; David Lucas (Loni), Janie Smith (Thomas), Rebecca Lentz (Kenneth), Susan Lucas (Janet), Kimberly Lucas (Bryan Mercier), Anthony Lucas, William Lucas, Phillip Lucas, nieces and nephews, Ryan Lucas, John Solokis, Catherine Lentz and Katherine Zarada.

A Memorial Service and reception will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, January 15, 2016 at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, Skidaway Island.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Peter’s Episcopal Church of Skidaway Island, 3 West Ridge Rd., Savannah, GA 31411 or Humane Society for Greater Savannah, 7215 Salle Mood Dr., Savannah, GA 31406.
