It's been just over a week since losing Dad. I can't help but feel like this is some sort of awful dream, but I know it isn't. I loved, respected, and deeply admired my father. I'd give anything to have him back. I think we're all guilty of taking time with loved ones for granted. We just assume they'll always be there, because they always have been. Cherish every moment with loved ones and be sure to express your love for them. I appreciate all the kind words people have shared about my father. I find the memories and stories comforting. Thank you for sharing them and showing your love.

- Ben Miller, Savannah, GA

What a kind and gentle soul this man was. I never knew him to be anything other than a man of integrity. The many loved ones he left behind will always treasure the time Bob was present with them. And now as the gentle soul he was, he will continue to be near, as his gentle spirit lives among us. When we all get to heaven...†

Words cannot express the sadness at hearing of the passing of Bob Miller. During the Desert Storm War he began piling rocks, in letter shapes, out in the middle of the desert. Many began to help him spell out: "Keep The Faith" in a large enough size letters for pilots in Air Force jets and Army Helicopter, flying overhead, to clearly see. It became the motto of our unit during the most fearful of times...War, a time that tries a man's soul. He was courageous and determined to do the right thing when no one was watching. He could be counted on to be that calm assuring voice with that deep draw. Many knew him in various ways. But the best i can say is that I knew him as my friend & comrade and I thank my Lord Jesus Christ in heaven for sharing Bob with us during some of the most difficult days in my life. Go rest high upon that mountain Brother, your work here on Earth is done. My prayer is that the family and all that knew, loved and respected him will be strengthened and comforted during this time of great loss! You have my deepest sympathies. I feel your pain, I got some of my own........

- MAJ Robert Lewis Michael Jr. D.Th (USAR,Ret), Augusta, GA
