Savannah- Patricia “Pat” Corinne Wells, 83, died Sunday, February 7, 2016 at Memorial Hospital, following a brief illness.

Pat, the daughter of Rolande Matte Trotter and Ernest Trotter, was born in Flint, Michigan in 1933. After attending St. Matthews Catholic High School, she enrolled in The St. Lawrence School of Nursing in Lansing, Michigan. Upon completing her nursing degree she began her career at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Flint. In 1954, Pat married her high school sweetheart, Warren “Joe” Wells. During their careers, they lived in many different cities in the states of Michigan, Colorado and Indiana. In 1993, they built a home and happily retired in Pinehurst, NC. After Joe’s death, Pat moved to The Marshes of Skidaway Island in Savannah to be near her family.

Throughout her life, Pat loved to ski, golf and cook alongside her husband, Joe. Pat was best known however, as an avid dog lover. Pat was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

She is survived by her sister, Mary Ellen Cols; nieces, Patricia Cols Frykberg and Danielle Cols Sussman (John); nephews, Dominic Cols (Sandra) and Matthew Cols (Patricia), and many great nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m., Thursday, February 11, 2016 at St. James Catholic Church. Interment will be in New Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Flint Michigan.
