ALMA – Angelia Susan Vitagliano passed away on Sunday, February 7, 2016, at the age of 50.
Angie was born on April 17, 1965 in Burlington, North Carolina.
She loved being an Independent Trucker and a part of Joyce’s Grocery in Alma, Georgia. Angie was also an avid dog lover. Her true passion was being on the water, fishing, swimming, and watching beautiful sunsets.
Angela was preceded in death by her father, Arthur S. Vitagliano.
Surviving are her significant other, Jerry Lee Harris; her mother, Judith H. Rowe; a daughter, Hailey Vitagliano; a son, Adam Vitagliano; a brother, Casey Jones (Sarah); three grandchildren, Peyton (Peanut), Paxton, and Preston; her step-mother, Wanda Vitagliano; and her step-father, James Sheppard.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm on Thursday, February 11, 2016 at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Islands Chapel.
A graveside service will take place at 1:00 pm on Friday, February 12, 2016, at Bonaventure Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Humane Society for Greater Savannah, 7215 Sallie Mood Dr., Savannah, GA 31406, www.humanesocietysav.org or to the American Heart Association www.heart.org.
