My condolences to your family. It is never easy during a difficult time like this. The bible though offers hope for our loved ones. At John 5:28,29 Jesus assures us "Do not be amazed, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out." This promise will come true in the near future.

Dear Edwards family, I was very saddened to hear about Jason's passing. I have countless memories of playing soccer with Jason and thought of him as a friend. Know he will not be forgotten for his kindness and his spirit. I hope that God is able to bring you a little comfort in this terrible time of loss.
- Scott Harlan, Newnan, GA
Jason had problems that kept him from the bright future he should have had. He had all the qualities that makes a parent proud. Mental Illness, as difficult as it is for the people around the person to understand; the hardest part is being in that person's shoes and not seeing any problem whatsoever. Despite all of that his heart never changed, a large one... his defining characteristic. He was always very kind and polite and full of money making ideas that he would want my opinion on,some very good. He will be missed . He missed his mother so badly. I pray that he is at peace with his mother by his side just as he wanted and I pray that will help you with your grief .
- Charlie Manes and family, Richmond Hill, Ga
Andy and family,I am so sorry for loss.He is in heaven with his mom.Rest in peace Jason;

I am so saddened by the loss of your beloved son Jason. I remember with fondness watching him protect the goal, soccer game after soccer game, always with determination, pride and incredible athletic ability. Zak said he was always the one that could pull the team together no matter what. What an amazing athlete he was. He was so much a part of our lives in every way. I loved his tender spirit, his gentleness, his humor and his amazing ability to make everyone feel at home. It makes me smile to remember Jason when he would be eating a meal with us and making me feel as if I had just cooked the best meal he had ever had. He had a way of making us all feel special. There are no words to comfort you in your time and your family's time of tremendous loss and grief but know we hold you all in the light of healing.
- Nancy Anderson, Flat Rock, NC

Mr. Edwards- The Jason I will always remember is the one who could make my brother (Brett) laugh like no one else. I remember watching him tear up the basketball court and light up a room whenever he walked into it. He was always my favorite friend of Brett's in high school because he was incredibly kind to me and so much fun. It's been close to 15 years since I've seen him, but my heart broke when I heard the news. Please know you and your family are in my prayers.
