I was so sorry to learn of Connie's death. We were all so close at Houghton Mifflin Atlanta, and Connie fit right in the minute she moved down and joined us. As a matter of fact, most of us already knew her and were thrilled to know she was coming. What a positive and funny person she was. Connie will be missed tremendously-there were many who cared for her. Sincerest sympathy to the family and know you are in my thoughts. Linda

Connie and I grew up together in Mont Alto, Pa. as back yard neighbors. I've so many memories...she was my first friend, and I will miss her great laugh, her smile, and our friendship of 60 years. Our thoughts and prayers to Jack, Laura, Jackie, Jennifer, Ray and all.

Dave and I are so very sad for you and your family, Ray. Heartbroken for you, especially. Connie was one of the most unique of people - always upbeat, positive, fun loving, and smart. Even though we haven't seen you both in quite awhile, we always talk about you. Great picture, always that great smile!

Connie was the epitome of what every person in the world should be. She was the most intelligent woman I have ever met. Not only her intelligence, but beauty and kindness outshined and brought brightness in this world. We love you Connie. This world is void of a special, kind, and beautiful person. Love, Christine, Cliff, Carson and Campbell
