Norma Carter Waters

SAVANNAH - Norma Juanita Carter Waters, 91, widow of the late Robert Herman Waters, died Tuesday, March 1, 2016, at St. Joseph’s Hospital. The native and lifelong resident of Savannah was the daughter of the late Wallace Howard and Nettie Mae Bashlor Carter. She was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church and retired from Peninsula Life Insurance Company after fifteen years of service.
Surviving are a nephew, Wallace Read Carter and his wife, Linda, of Nahunta of Georgia; five great nieces, Connie Colley (Vance), CaroleAnn Gill (Richard), Mary Lowther (Ed), Reada Harris (Christopher), and Susan Thomas (Frank); 11 great-grand nieces and 7 great-grand nephews.
A Graveside funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 3, 2016, at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
