She will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Jim and Peggy Love of Savannah; and her daughter and son-in-law, Carol and Reid Blades of Macon.   Also surviving are four grandchildren, Brandon Blades (Kayla), Heather B. Walker (Kevin), Christa Rowland (Greg), and Erin Love Steele (Jonathan), and seven great-grandchildren, Zachary Rowland, William Rowland, Jackson Blades, Lorilei Walker, Nathan Blades, Sawyer Walker, Logan Steele and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 8, 2016 at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel.

May Jehovah, God, give you the needed strength to cope with the loss of your loved one as you await the promise found at Isaiah 65:17.

Our condolences to Jimmy and Carol and their families on the loss of their sweet mother. We pray that sadness will give way to joy in knowing she is in God's eternal embrace.

I spent many days and hours with Clara when I was young and lived a mile away. Also, after she moved to Savannah where I visited her often. I was one of the first grand children in her family and she did more than her part making me enjoy being with her. As I grew older and lived in distant locations I did not get to spend much time with here but enjoyed it when I could. I will certainly miss Clara as the final member of her family generation. Jack

Aunt Clara was my aunt by marriage and she brought peace and tranquility when she visited our home, Joe and Lucille Riggs being my Mother and Step-Father. I never had the private time to tell her how much I loved her visits, she was the most caring person ever. Not having her at the very few visits with the Family will be a major void.....she was an angel on earth and not in heaven.
