Margaret Patricia Kelly

SAVANNAH - Margaret Patricia Kelly, a native and lifelong resident of Savannah, died Saturday, March 12, 2016, after a short illness.Patricia attended Blessed Sacrament School and graduated from St. Vincent's Academy in June 1962. The following week she went to work for Atlantic Mutual Fire Insurance Company, where she was employed until the company closed. Shortly after leaving Atlantic Mutual, Patricia joined the office staff of Sherrill & Company, where she was employed until retirement. On weekends and holidays, Patricia served as a docent at the Davenport House, the Owens-Thomas House, and the Telfair Museum. Patricia was a communicant at the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church.

She is survived by a brother, Eugene A. Kelly (Judy), a niece, Donna Kelly Eichholz (Tony), a nephew, David J. Kelly (Helen), and great nieces and nephew.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel, with a Rosary at 6:00 pm.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am on Wednesday, March 16, 2016, at the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist.  The interment will be private in Catholic Cemetery.

The family wishes to express their gratitude to Your Mother's Keepers care service, operated by Sandy McGlohon, particularly Wanda Ilami, Sheryl Fultz, and Carolyn Ball, who made Patricia's life much more enjoyable in her last year.
