SAVANNAH - Fernando Santos, age 64, died April 19th at St. Joseph/Candler Hospital surrounded by his wife and children. 

 He was born January 5th, 1952 in Montalegre, Portugal before coming to the U.S. in 1964. 

 He was a registered architect for the state of New York; a member of the AIA. His career took him from the Empire State building, to Luanda, Angola, to Seoul, South Korea, to finally Asheville, NC. 

 Surviving are his wife, Deborah Santos of Savannah, GA; his daughter and son-in-law, Kimberly and Francesco Ventisette, of Springfield, NJ; his son and daughter-in-law, Erik and Abby Santos, of Savannah, GA; his son and daughter-in-law, Adam and Esther Santos-Rock, of Huntington, NY; his daughter, Danielle Santos, of Savannah, GA; and his daughter and son-in-law, Kelly and Jonathan Floyd of Fayetteville, NC, and six grandchildren.

 The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Friday April 22nd at Fox and Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel. 

 The funeral service will be held 10:00 am April 23rd, at St. Andrews Anglican Church, 608 Hampton street, Savannah, GA 31405.

 Interment will follow in the Greenwich Section of Bonaventure Cemetery.

 The family suggests any remembrances be made in his memory to St. Jude's Children Research Hospital for childhood cancer or Save the Children- Angola.
