Celebrating the life of
Patricia Huene
November 20, 1942 - April 26, 2016
Patricia Marie Huene (O'Connor) died April 26, 2016, peacefully in her sleep at her home on Skidaway Island. Survivors include her daughter, two sons, daughter-in-law, and four sisters. She was a member of the United Methodist Church on Skidaway Island. A former teacher, she was an avid and lifelong reader, and she passed that strong love of learning on to her children.
The family suggests that any remembrances be made in her memory to an organization that supports literacy and education, such as First Book.
Love you, tennis bud. Thanks for all the wonderful memories. Love, Carol

I was devastated to learn of Trish's passing - I will miss her terribly at our weekly Wednesday bridge games at Plantation. She was a dear friend, a lovely person, a beautiful soul who was cherished by everyone who knew her. Peter, Claire and Andrew - I hope the Lord brings you and your family peace and comfort during this difficult time.
- Rosalind (Roz) Hager, Savannah, GA
I will certainly miss you, Trish. Your warm and selfless help at bridge classes was always a blessing to me, and I know all the people we helped at these classes will miss you too.

Trish was a lovely person who was one of the regulars we met at The Midtiwn Deli. We enjoyed so much our conversations with her over a bagel and are saddened to learn of her death. We offer sincere condolences to her family.
- John and Janis Comer, Savannah, Ga
We will miss Trish's wit and charm, especially her Irish friends. Her intelligence made her a formidable conversationalist, and her love of New York was appreciated by her fellow former New Yorkers. May God keep her in the hollow of his hand. Margaret Vincenti

Our deepest sympathy to the family.

My dear friend, Trish: A lovely and most generous and giving person with both the assertiveness of New York softened with some Southern graciousness. Bridge partner, confidence sharer, and wonderful friend. I will miss her. Marion Nesterenko

Such a wonderful person! She was a great friend and we had a lasting experience playing as partners at the bridge club. Her smile and sense of humor were ever present even in her off days. I shall miss her. Gordon fenwick

Peter, Ron and I are so sorry to hear of your Mother's death. Even though our paths have not crossed in later years, we have such fond memories of her from your high school years. Anne and Ron Ginsberg
