Universal City, TX- Daisy Barbee passed away on April 22^nd, 2016 at the age of 91. She was born on August 25^th, 1924 in Savannah, Georgia to John and Alva (Johnson) Edmondson. She was a dental receptionist for Dr. Donald R. Smidt in Universal City, Texas for more than twenty years. She was also an active member of the First Baptist Church of Universal City. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Freddie A. Barbee; brother, John Edmondson (Bootsie); and sister, Doris McKendree.

She is survived by her daughter, Gail Barbee; brother, Michael Edmondson and numerous nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held Friday, May 6, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at Fox and Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel, followed by a graveside service at 11:00 a.m. at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Go Outreach Ministry at the First Baptist Church of Universal City.
