Patricia "Colleen" Shea Craven

Patricia Colleen Shea Craven, age 81, born in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Mark Joseph and Mary Vena Shea died peacefully in her home in Savannah, Georgia surrounded by her children. Colleen was preceded in death by her sisters, Marston Shea Weber (Wayne) and Jean Marie Shea and her best friend, love of her life and soul mate, Wallace Bernard “Bernie” Craven. She is survived by brother –in- law Nicholas Glazer of Louisville, Ky.; daughters Kathleen LaVene Craven, Mary Grace “Mollie” Hamilton (Dennis) both of Savannah, Ga ; sons George Bernard Craven, Mark Shea Craven, Sean Patrick Craven of Bowling Green, Ky.; grandchildren Jessica Beisler, Benjamin Beisler, Wesley Hall, Kelly Benner (Brian), George Cole Craven and great-granddaughters Lia Evans and Peyton Benner. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and two special daughters Melissa Rose and Claudette Craven.

Colleen enjoyed playing bridge with fellow members of the Savannah Bridge Club and was a member of the Savannah Newcomers Club and the Daughters of Ireland. She enthusiastically participated in as many Irish festivities as possible.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 18, 2016 at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel.

A Mass of Christian Burial and interment will follow in Louisville, KY, under the direction of Ratterman and Sons Funeral Home. Times will be announced.
