Patty is survived by her husband George Meinert, her daughter Traci James, and her son George (Chip) Meinert and wife Mary; her grandchildren Nicholas James, Liz and Zachary Duclos, Chloe, Mac, and Olivia Meinert along with several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her daughter Karen, her parents, and her sister.

Was shocked to hear about Gee. She was such a amazing woman and will never forget her delicious meals after coming home from a long drive from Athens, GA or Tybee. She was always there to talk with us and hear our stories. Such a Godly woman and was always there for us. I will miss her deeply not seeing her this summer. Soo sorry for the loss of Mrs. Meinert. I always saw her at the publix and we would catch up. She was a wonderful person and always had a smile on her face! I Remember my younger days when Mrs. Meinert and my dad, Pat Kitchens, coached the Talahi Twins. She sure loved to watch us make those double plays. I had the pleasure of running into gee a few weeks before i left for work, at home depot. She was looking for something to repel the racoons and such away from her garden. I stopped to help her read the fine print on the bottles, and once she decided on one we parted ways. I will always remember gee and how positive and encouraging she was.
