Lisa and Myra I am so sorry to hear of Wauwese passing. I knew she was tired and not trying but I am so sorry. I loved to visit Wauwese and her family. She was proud of all of you. I enjoyed staying at the "Turner Hilton" so many times. Wauwese was very special to me. I met her through NAWIC and we spent many hours together remembering NAWIC Events. I loved her very much and all of my family does. She came to my Sister's wedding and my Sister came with me the last time we came to Savannah. I will certainly miss her very much. I will keep all of you in my prayers.

I will truly miss Wauwese. I loved traveling with her to NAWIC Conventions, Regional Meetings and Conferences. I remember we always had to go a few days early to take all the Grayline Tours that were offered. She loved NAWIC and enjoyed hosting the out of town members at the "Turner Hilton". She will be missed by all. Heaven definitely received another Angel!

I enjoyed talking to Wauwese at Sunday School at First Baptist Church of the Islands and later as her neighbor at Savannah Commons. She always had a cheerful disposition. She liked showing her photographs. I am so sorry for your loss. God Bless!

My mother, Katrena Nesmith Wilson, and Aunt Willa Mae Nesmith Lanier asked me to offer their condolences. They grew up near Wauwese's family in Nevils. Wauwese and my Aunt Willa Mae graduated from high school together in Nevils. Our thoughts are with her family.

Wauwese was a kind hearted, fun-loving southern lady. She opened her home, dubbed The Turner Hilton by many NAWIC members, graciously to many through the years. You will be missed my friend by the many whose hearts you touched. Hugs and love to you Lisa. Your Mom was one of a kind.
