Celebrating the life of
Emiko Karulynn Stobaeus Diaz
September 01, 1994 - August 21, 2016
Savannah- Emiko Karulynn Stobaeus Diaz was born on September 1st, 1994 in Brunswick, Ga. and passed away on Sunday August 21st, 2016. She was a loving wife of Jesus Alexis Diaz, the wonderful daughter to Janeen Kluska and Richard Stobaeus, and caring sister to Nobuki, Keiko, Kenji, and Akira Stobaeus. She is survived by her beautiful daughter, Eva Valerie Diaz. Emiko attended St. Francis Xavier Catholic School, was in the Southside Performance Learning Center and graduated from Brunswick High School. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from the College of Coastal Georgia. Emiko worked at Kyoto Express and Apple Care. Her dream was to pursue a career in the medical field. She was one to always help others and put them before herself. Even if you were having the worst day, she could brighten your mood and make you feel like the best person. Her compassion and inspiration to others was unequaled. She gave off a light that made you want to be a better person and accomplish more than you thought you could. Her energy was effervescent and contagious.
In lieu of flowers, those who wish to make a contribution to Eva’s medical/educational fund may do so by going to www.saintmarksepiscopal.com (click on the “give” tab, select “other” and memo for “Eva”); or send/bring a check or cash to St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, 900 Gloucester St. Brunswick, Ga. 31520 with the memo “Eva.” Thank you so much for your prayers and contributions.
We were deeply saddened to hear about Emiko's passing. Your children were such bright, shining lights at Christ Church, Frederica, and we have missed your family in recent years. We know that your precious Emiko is safe and happy in heaven, but we know she will be sorely missed by her family and friends. You must all have been so very proud of Emiko's accomplishments and must love her daughter so much. Please know that friends at church have been thinking of each of you at this most difficult time and are keeping you in our hearts and prayers. May God bless and comfort you.
