I only have little girl memories of Sharon but they are a part of my life that I loved. Up until I was 11 years old I thought we were blood kin. That is just how things rolled at the Helvey's. I know your children and especially your grand children will miss you but you will always be in their memories, hearts and soul. The ones we leave behind have the hard times. Sharon is in God's house! Bruce Hendrix

- Claudine Bruce Hendrix, Peachtree Corners, Ga

I have such wonderful memories of Sharon. We had so much fun together when our kids were younger. She was kind, funny and a friend for life. Nothing was more important to her than her children. How lucky they were to have her as their mother. She will be missed.

I am so sorry to hear of Sharon's passing. We lost touch after school but she was always a joy and I loved her laughter. May our God give you the comfort you need in this time of your sorrow.

- Sharon Crager Bethune, Garden City, GA

My sweet niece and newphews and spouses, I am so,so sorry for the loss of you Mother. When I heard the news, I immediately felt a hole in my heart for her. I know that is how ya'll feel, too but 10 times greater. I loved her very much, she was my sweet, caring and understanding sister in law. When ya'll were babies we talked on the phone everyday about our babies. Sharon made me feel better about myself having a child like Kimberly. And in 2007, I worked downtown and when I would leave to go home, she would be in the park, on her break, I would stop and chat for a moment. We both worked downtown for years and would have lunch on River Street. Those were the good old days. Going on trips, she was funny, we had a lot of laughs. I am praying everynight for you guys faith and strength in the Lord to go on and to know you will see her again and that I will also. I love you guys as if you were my own. Rest in peace Sharon, love you.

Judy, Charles, Brian, Jason, Lacey, and families.....know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. I loved your mom and we spent many of our childhood days together. She and I were like Laverne and Shirley (from the TV show). We went through loves and heart breaks together.....MANY laughs...you know Sharon's comedic nature...and vacations...oh did we have some times! Grad weekend we had many adventures! After Groves and graduation, we only had minimal conversations....a class reunion together, with Karen Ellis...the three amigos...a few conversations at Memorial Day School...and at Zac and Jenna's wedding..where I learned of her illness....know how much she was loved, and how much you are loved...if you need anything, just SHOUT out...
