Martha Joan Johnson Wright

Martha Joan Johnson Wright, 80, formerly of Jackson, MO passed away October 4, 2016 at Hospice of Savannah. She was born August 29, 1936 in Neely’s Landing MO, daughter of Arvy and Violet Gohn Johnson.

Martha worked at International Shoe Co. in Jackson, MO for 20 years. She was an avid gardener and loved to cook big family meals. She was preceded in death by her parents, stepmother, Eula Johnson; a brother, Jerry Johnson.

She is survived by a sister, Mary Beth McNeely of Arnold, Mo; two sons, Bruce (Patti) Windeknecht of Knoxville, TN; Barry (Patty) Windeknecht of Richmond Hill, GA. Five grandchildren, Ryan and Cody Windeknecht of Knoxville, TN, Tracy Windeknecht of Indianapolis, IN, Joseph Windeknecht of Madison, WI and Sarah Windeknecht of Richmond Hill, GA.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, October 30, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at White Bluff Presbyterian Church, Savannah, GA.

Memorials may be made to a Hospice Facility of your choice.
