GUEST BOOK

Dear Nancy and children, My sincere condolences to all of you on the recent death of your husband, father and my old friend, Jerry. Although we went separate ways in our adult lives, we shared a close friendship in our younger days. Jerry was the first true friend I met in my neighborhood and we spent many an afternoon riding bikes and exploring the Columbus avenue and 60th street corridors. It was a time when kids could roam freely without the fear that today's kids and parents have to consider. We continued our friendship through high school at Benedictine, Jerry in the class of '68 and me in '69. His mother and dad were also very dear to me as well as his sister Cynthia. I will always remember the Jue family as a loving, hard working family that shared the values we all hold in such high regard in this country in which we live. Jerry was a friend and will be missed.

When two become one they embark on an adventure that rivals most. When one is lost the emptiness can seem overwhelming. You're living through what is said to be the most stressful situation a person can endure. You've lost a part of yourself. Remember though, just a part. You can hold on, life will find healing, not today or tomorrow, and maybe not for a long time. But the healing will come. Psalm 27: 5 assures you, "For he will hide me in his shelter on the day of calamity; He will conceal me in the secret place of his tent; high on a rock he will place me". Stay in that place of concealment as long as you need to. Those who truly love you will stay at your side.My sincere condolences for your loss.
