I am so, so sorry for you and the family...God bless you! Your Mama & I were diagnosed the same Spring with the same problem...I'm still fighting...but also know it is all in our Lord's hands! I am so sorry for your loss. I went to school with Trudy. Mary Beth notified me about her passing and we will truly miss her. The last time I saw her was when our classmates gathered in Florida and we had a great time. She was my friend and will be missed by all of us. Carol Marrott

Trudy was my neighbor, my friend, my confidant, and one of the bright spots on my tree of lights. We all come into this world the same way but it's the in between that makes all the difference. Trudy spent a lifetime dedicated to the service of others through her decades as a nurse and the volunteer work she did in our community. I met her almost 40 years ago through her kids when they moved onto my street. Quickly, they became friends and remain so to this day. While life spread all of us in many directions, I still found time to drop in, have a drink and laugh with Trudy, and genuinely appreciate a friend that sometimes could serve as a mirror and sounding board for me. I will miss her immensely but I know that she's in a better place above the clouds and always there to talk to. I send my condolences to Rob, Ann, and the entire family here and in Indiana and elsewhere. Heaven received a nurse and we lost an angel for Trudy had already earned her wings here on this side of the clouds.I'm grateful that the Lord gave me her,Bob,Rob and Ann and their families that I will always call friends. - Tony Thomas,Friend, Alderman, and the neighborhood kid she took in many decades ago
