William Lucken (Bubba) O'Connell
March 05, 1958 - November 28, 2016
William Lucken O’Connell (Bubba), age 58, passed away peacefully November 28, 2016 at Athens Regional Hospital. A native of Savannah, William was born March 5, 1958 to Joseph Dennis O’Connell and Elsie Lucken O’Connell.
He is survived by his sister, Terry O’Connell Charles and her husband, Bill, numerous cousins, a niece, nephews and half-brother.
A memorial visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel.
The funeral service will be private.
Remembrances: In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the charity of choice in memory of William.
Terry I was so sorry to hear about Bubba last night, I think of him often. Everybody I spend a lot of time with "friends,coworkers and family" have all heard some of the Bubba story's I tell. We had a lot of fun growing up, he will aways be in our hearts.
