Ricky was a man of few words, but it was clear to us that he loved his family and knew he was loved in return. He also loved his new apartment with its sunny patio where, after many years of unsuccessful attempts on his sunless covered porch at 8000 Waters Apartments, he was finally able to grow big, beautiful peppers and cherry tomatoes. Simple pleasures such as this always put a smile on Ricky's face. We miss him dearly. Please enjoy this poem in remembrance of dear, sweet Ricky.. God's Garden by Anonymous God looked around his garden And He found an empty place. And then He looked down upon the earth, And saw your tired face. He put His arms around you, And lifted you to rest. God's garden must be beautiful, He always takes the best. He knew that you were suffering, He knew you were in pain, He knew that you would never Get well on earth again. He saw the road was getting rough, And the hills were hard to climb, So He closed your weary eyelids, And whispered "Peace be thine." It broke our hearts to lose you. But you didn't go alone, For part of us went with you, The day God called you home.

To Ricky's family. He was a kind and caring person. Mother and I would always be greeted by him when he was home with his Mother and he always had a smile on his face. My Mother, Anne Ellis and his Mother were good friends. Rest in Peace Ricky, you are out of all of your pain now.

I am so sorry for you loss of Ricky. I lived above him for a few years and would often go spend time with him. After I moved, I would run into him at his doctors office in which I worked for. Ricky was always so sweet to be around. I loved spending time with him, going to the gym, making airplanes, and hanging with bunbun. My heart hurts knowing I won't see him again but I know he is at peace in God's hands. He will be forever missed and he has left imprints forever on my heart. Love you Ricky! Rest in Peace. <3

Ricky, quiet as a child, a gentle soul. As Edwards cousins, he & I were closest in age. One by one, we're leaving this temporary life. One day we'll all be together again, without illness, at peace, for all eternity. I'll see you when I get there, my sweetest cousin.
