Eloise and Family: I did not realize your parents had retired to Savannah. I am so sorry to hear that your Mom has passed. Although I never had the privilege of meeting her, I know she was a wonderful woman and mother -- because I know you and saw what she taught you (even though we have not seen each other in many years). I pray that God will richly bless you and your family, giving you His Blessed Peace at this time, and His strength for the days to come. If you get back down to Savannah sometime, sent me a note on Facebook -- maybe we could have lunch. God bless, Ruth

Truly one of the most elegant women that I have known. Louise had such a love for children and especially those who had the greatest need. She and Dan were so proud of the Johnson City Community and served in so many ways. I was truly blessed to have shared office space with her for so many years. She introduced my family to the "lake life" which we continue to enjoy to this day. All my condolence to Eloise and Lisa and the grandchildren who were the love of her life.

My condolences to the Wexler family for the loss of your dear loved one. What a beautiful smile she had! May that smile along with other sweet memories fill your hearts with joy and peace. During the days to come may you be comforted by Jehovah God's promise that we will see those whom we lost in death again (Acts 24:15).
- Thomas, Snellville, Ga.
I am truly sorry for your loss. I had the good fortune of talking with Louise each month when I went to get my hair done. I enjoyed those talks immensely and we would talk often of our mutual love of family and Tennessee. I loved hearing about her grandchildren...she was so proud of all of you. We stayed in touch after she quit going to "Ted's" and I will miss her love of life and her elegance. I learned a lot from her. I thank you for sharing her with all of us in Savannah. I wish I could be at her service but she will always be remembered in my heart. My best to you all. Patti Lyons

Lisa,Chip, Daniel: I don't know the feelings that you are going through...no one does. The worst part of death is the ache and loneliness in your heart, the best part are the memories that will never die. I have always admired your mother. I considered her a fashion icon, never a hair out of place, beautiful clothes, exquisite jewelry, and such regal bearing. She truly was the epitome of a 'Southern Belle'. She has left you a great legacy...family, caring, and her deep love of God. I will miss her sitting in the second pew at church, but I know that she is now singing the "Hallelujah Chorus" in heaven and having a grand time. She was a great lady.

I will always remember Louise with great fondness. We laughed and conversed during the many Lunch Bunch luncheons and Ladies Night Out dinner gatherings we attended over the years. It is with sadness that I say goodbye to this fine southern lady and friend.
