Savannah – Lourdes de Leon died peacefully February 22, 2017 with family at her side.
She was born in the Philippines on November 28, 1924 and moved in Savannah in 1986.
She lived a simple life, was a devout Catholic, a homemaker and enjoyed going to senior care in her later years.
She is survived by 7 daughters and a son: Elizabeth, Maria Lourdes (Florante), Virginia, Marlene (William), Edna (James), Elvira, Chat (Wayne) and Jojo (Emelie); 18 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 6pm - 8 pm with a Rosary Service at 6:30 pm, on Tuesday, February 28, 2017 at Fox & Weeks, Hodgson Chapel.
The funeral service will be 11 am on Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church.
Interment will follow in the Catholic Cemetery.
