Elizabeth Roe Mason

Savannah, GA - Elizabeth Roe Mason, 63, passed away Monday, March 6, 2017 at Memorial University Medical Center. She was born in Greenville, SC daughter of Thomas Anderson Roe, Jr. and Betty Bain Roe. After graduation from Christ Church Episcopal Church School in Greenville, Elizabeth attended Furman University. Elizabeth married David W. Mason in 1975 and lived in Greenville where David was employed until they moved to Cashiers, NC. In 1983, they moved to Savannah where David managed Lorwil Land Corp., a company his father owned. Elizabeth was a homemaker, member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church and a volunteer with Alcoholics Anonymous.
Surviving are her husband of 42 years, David W. Mason of Savannah; brothers, Thomas A. Roe, III (Dr. Tracy Roe); Phillip S. Roe of Greenville, SC and several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, March 10, 2017 at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church.
