Margaret Howard Sturtevant

Margaret Howard Sturtevant, 92, died Wednesday, April 26, 2017 at Hospice House.

She was born in Brooklet, GA, the daughter of Fortson and Merline Kearse Howard. She was preceded in death by her husband Clifford J. Sturtevant.

Surviving are her son, Dennis J. Sturtevant and his wife Luana of El Paso, TX; daughter, Brenda M. Gettinger and her husband Clyde of Savannah; five grandchildren, and twelve great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Monday, May 1, 2017 at Fox & Week Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel.

The funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at the chapel of Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel. Pallbearers will be Chris W. Sanderson, Billy C. Sturtevant, Randle H. Sturtevant, James K. Sturtevant, Raymond L. Hadaway, Jr., Kayden D. Sturtevant and Austin J. Sturtevant.  Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.

Remembrances may be made to the American Cancer Society.
