Robert Paul Burns
April 06, 1968 - October 18, 2017
Robert Paul Burns passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, October 17th, 2017. He came to Savannah, Georgia in 1997. He worked as a hair stylist for Joel & Company until he joined the Savannah Veterinary community by working for the Humane Society for Greater Savannah. As the Office Manager of Chatham Animal Hospital and Bird Clinic, Robert bestowed his vast knowledge, compassionate demeanor and valuable technical skills to many of the area’s Veterinary Technicians and Nurses. He was currently working at Savannah Veterinary Emergency Clinic, Stephenson Veterinary Properties and as the Head Technician at Brunswick Pet ER. Robert is preceded in death by his beloved dogs, Butch and Bruiser.
Services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Sunday, October 29th at Fox and Weeks on Hodgson Memorial Drive. In lieu of flowers please send donations to the ASPCA in Robert’s name.
