Robert "Bobby" Feil
July 13, 1944 - October 25, 2026
In Loving Memory of Robert "Bobby" Feil
Robert Feil, known as Bobby to his friends and family and lovingly as Daddy to his daughter, was born on July 13, 1944, in Savannah, Georgia, at Hunter Army Airfield. He was the son of Robert Feil and Annette Feil (Wilson). He passed away on October 25, 2026, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. He is now at rest and free from pain.
Bobby was a hardworking, generous man with a strong personality and a stubborn streak at times. He had a tough outer shell, but underneath was a kind heart and a deep love for the people in his life. He was a strong presence in the lives of those who knew him and was loved and respected by many.
Bobby shared 58 beautiful years of marriage with his wife, Norma. Together, they built a life and a family filled with memories. Throughout his career, Bobby worked for Airgas, serving in several positions before retiring as Fleet Manager. Through company name changes and changes in management, he remained loyal and dedicated, working his way up through the years. His commitment and work ethic were a reflection of the man he was.
Bobby loved the outdoors and took pride in working in his yard. He enjoyed traveling, especially trips to Cherokee, North Carolina, where he could relax in the mountains, sit by the river, enjoy a drink, and take in the peaceful surroundings with Norma. He also had a special love for dogs and always enjoyed the company of the neighborhood dogs and his daughter's dogs.
Above all, Bobby was the rock of his family and the glue that held everyone together. His wife, Norma, his only child, Tracy, and his son-in-law, Ryan, along with his brother, Larry, and sister, Suzanne, were at the center of his world. He also leaves behind many other family members who loved him dearly, along with his favorite grand dogs, Waylon, Bandit, and Bo.
Bobby's faith in God was an important part of his life. He had given his heart to Jesus and enjoyed watching Pastor Benny and Rock Springs Church every Sunday. Some of his most meaningful recent moments were the calls he received from Pastor Benny and Pastor Cameron.
Even through his long battle with cancer, Bobby remained strong, kept his sense of humor, and continued to enjoy life the best he could. That strength and determination were part of who he was and something his family will always remember.
Bobby leaves behind a lifetime of memories, lessons, laughter, and love. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends. His strong presence can never be replaced, and the love he gave his family will remain with them always.
Rest easy, Daddy. We love you.
