Leland Richard Parris, 82, of Savannah, Georgia, passed away on February 15, 2023. He was born in Spartanburg, South Carolina, in 1940.

Richard is survived by his beloved wife of 59 years, Vicky Pruitt Parris; his daughter, India King, and her husband, Robert, of Savannah; his son, Chad Parris, and his wife, Michelle, of Greenwich, Connecticut; and six grandchildren.

Richard will be lovingly remembered by his family and friends, who will cherish the memories they shared with him.

A Celebration of Life was held at the family home with close friends and family.

He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by those who loved him.
