Celebrating the life of

Barbara Farley

November 02, 1984 - October 25, 2026

Barbara Farley

Barbara Farley, born November 2, 1984, passed away October 25, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Dráma, Greece, to Johnny and Stavroula (Mamaka) Farley, Barbara spent part of her childhood in Germany before her family settled in Hinesville, Georgia. She graduated from Bradwell Institute in 2003 and earned a degree in respiratory therapy from Armstrong Atlantic State University in 2010. She later made her home in Kingsland, Georgia.

Barbara cherished her family and was proud of her Greek heritage and Greek Orthodox faith. She especially enjoyed watching the Olympian Games earlier this year.

Barbara could strike up a conversation with anyone, loved a good debate and was never afraid to speak her mind. She had a good heart and went above and beyond for the people she loved. She was someone they knew they could depend on.

Above all, nothing meant more to Barbara than being Alex’s mother. Her love for her daughter extended beyond circumstance, distance or time. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

Barbara was preceded in death by her aunt, Diana Tolley, and her grandparents, Panagiotis and Triadafillia Mamakas and John William and Barbara Farley.

She is survived by her daughter, Alex; parents, Johnny and Stavroula Farley; brother, John Farley (Tiffany); nieces, Katelyn and Madison; uncle, Randy Farley; aunt, Cyndi Farley Webb; and best friend of more than two decades, Stephanie Porter-Smith.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 28th at 11am at St. Paul's Greek Orthodox Church, 14 West Anderson Street, Savannah, GA  31401.  Burial to follow at Oak Hill Cemetery, One Oak Hill Rd., Richmond Hill, GA  31324.
