After a brief illness, Richard Anthony Connor, 66, passed away. A lifelong Savannah resident, Richard graduated from Savannah Christian Preparatory School in 1978 and continued his education at Armstrong State College. For more than four decades, he was a familiar and respected presence in Savannah’s hospitality industry. Richard was preceded in death by his parents, Richard A. Connor and Ca Rita C. Connor. He is survived by his sister, Menzanna Connor Blakley (Jim); his niece, Hailey Blakley Grene (Josh); his nephew, Britt Connor Blakley (Caitlin); and several great-nieces and great nephews. A graveside service will be held on Monday, September 21 st at 11am at Hillcrest Abbey East.
