Judith Anne McIntyre, 77, of Savannah, Georgia, passed away peacefully on September 11, 2026. She was born in Savannah on June 1, 1949, to Elizabeth and Otis McIntyre.
Judith dedicated 35 years of her life to caring for others as a registered nurse. She earned her nursing degree from Armstrong University, now Georgia Southern University’s Armstrong Campus, and was devoted to her profession and the patients she served.
A lifelong animal lover, Judith had a special place in her heart for animals and generously supported and assisted with local animal rescue organizations. She also gave her time to others through volunteer work at Spanish Oaks Nursing Home.
Judith will be lovingly remembered by her brother, Michael McIntyre; her sister, Jeanne McIntyre Yawn (Clif Yawn); and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Elizabeth and Otis McIntyre, and her brother, Glenn McIntyre.
A graveside funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, September 14, 2026, at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens in Savannah, Georgia.
