Celebrating the life of
Elisabeth Alexis Monas
December 02, 1980 - September 02, 2026
Elisabeth Alexis Monas, 45, passed away on September 2, 2026, leaving behind a family who loved her deeply and a lifetime of memories that will forever keep her close.
Elisabeth was a devoted mother, beloved daughter and sister, and a cherished friend. She was warm and caring, with a wonderful sense of humor and a personality all her own. She loved the people in her life deeply and could always make those around her laugh. Her kindness, laughter, and spirit will be missed by everyone who knew and loved her.
The greatest love of Elisabeth’s life was her daughter, Alexandra. Being Alexandra’s mother was an incredibly important part of who she was, and the bond they shared was filled with a love that will always remain.
Elisabeth was incredibly proud of her Greek heritage, something that was always an important part of who she was.
Elisabeth is survived by her beloved daughter, Alexandra Monas; her mother, Despina “Peppi” Monas (Savannah, Georgia); and her sister, Christina Monas (Brooklyn, New York). She was predeceased by her father, Alexandros Monas.
Elisabeth’s life ended far too soon, but the laughter she brought, the love she gave, and the memories she created will remain with those who loved her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
