Beverly Jean Martin 

December 29, 1951-August 31, 2026

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Beverly Jean Martin, a truly one-of-a-kind woman whose love, laughter, and unforgettable spirit will be deeply missed by everyone fortunate enough to have known her.

She loved her family fiercely and wholeheartedly. Some of her greatest memories were made alongside her beloved late husband, Michael Martin, her partner in life and in adventure. Together, they shared a love that carried them through countless journeys, creating stories and memories that she treasured long after he was gone. There is comfort in imagining the two of them together again, setting off on their next great adventure.

She had a special place in her heart for her dogs, who were more than pets—they were family and faithful companions through every season of her life.

She also knew how to appreciate life's simple pleasures. She was happiest sitting on her back porch, cigarette in hand and a glass of whiskey nearby, watching the world go by and enjoying life on her own terms. That porch held countless conversations, laughs, quiet moments, and memories that those who loved her will never forget.

She was unapologetically herself—strong, spirited, loving, and unlike anyone else. She didn't need to be anything other than exactly who she was, and that was part of what made her so special.

Above all, she loved her family. Her presence left a mark that cannot be replaced, and the stories, laughter, adventures, and love she shared will continue to live on through those she leaves behind.

She was truly one of a kind, and there will never be another quite like her.

May she rest peacefully, reunited with the husband she loved so dearly, with another adventure waiting just beyond the horizon.

A graveside service will be held in Hillcrest Abbey Cemetery, Friday, September 18, 2026 at 10:00 a.m.
