Cheryl Edenfield passed away Saturday, August 8, 2026 at hospice after a long illness. She was born in Dayton, Ohio and was a longtime resident of Savannah, GA. She recently retired from Howard Dental.
She is preceded in death by her father Charles Edward Bussell, retired USAF, mother Dorothy Phillips, and sister Janice Dukes. She is survived by her husband, Michael Edenfield, son Brenton Edenfield, daughter-in-law Megan Edenfield, and sister Debra Bussell and several nieces and nephews.
The visitation will be begin at 12:00p.m. Monday, August 17th followed by a 1:00p.m. Funeral Service at Fox & Weeks Hodgson Chapel. Interment will be at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, 315 Greenwich Rd, Savannah, GA 31404. https://sandflyflowershop.com/products/send-flowers

I didn't know Cheryl but her brother-in-law, Jimmy, and I have been friends a long time. No doubt she was a very fine person and will be sorely missed. I was saddened to learn of her passing. Condolences.
