Arnoldine Virginia Whitmore (Bragg)
November 8, 1945 to July 7, 2026
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Arnoldine "Arnie" Virginia Whitmore (Bragg), who passed away peacefully after a brief illness on Tuesday, July 7, 2026, at the age of 80.
Born on November 8, 1945, in Savannah, Georgia, Arnie spent most of her life in the city she proudly called home. She will be remembered for her kind heart, her love for family, and the many lives she touched throughout the years.
Arnie was preceded in death by her parents, Arnold and Sadie Bragg, and her brothers, Wendell Bragg and Curtis Bragg.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her sister and brother; her children, William "Trey" Miller III and Laura Yvette Miller; and her beloved grandsons, William Breck Miller (Carolina) and Ian Drake Miller, along with many extended family members and friends who will miss her dearly.
In accordance with Arnie's wishes, she was cremated.
A celebration of her life will be held at the American Legion, 3003 Rowland Avenue, Thunderbolt, GA 31404, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Brunch on August 22nd 2026 and will be served with family and friends to gather to share memories and celebrate her life.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Trey or Laura. All donations will be given to the American Legion Auxiliary and the Savannah Humane Society in Arnie's memory.
