Betty Jean Howard

Betty Jean Howard, 79, went to be with Jesus on Sunday, November 5, 2017. She was the daughter of John Paul and Maxie Lee Aiken. Betty had a practical nursing career and was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church. Betty went home to be with her Savior Jesus and her beloved husband, Jack. She is no longer burdened with arthritis, dementia, or any of the cares of the world. Praise be to her loving heavenly Father who has prepared a place for her forever.
Betty was pre-deceased by her husband, John Webb Howard, Jr. She is survived by her daughter, Debbie Missroon (Jerry), and stepsons, Thomas Howard (Linda), Robert Howard, James Howard (Terri), and Pratt Howard (Deborah); and by her stepdaughter, Alida Lois Howard.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, November 9, 2017 in Bonaventure Cemetery with Reverend James Howard officiating.
