Clifford Paul “Kip” Fisher, 79, of Savannah, Georgia, died July 8, 2026, in his home of complications from cancer treatment. 

Cliff was born in Beckley, WV on October 9, 1946, to Clifford Vernon Fisher and Josephine Carr Fisher. He grew up in Brunswick, GA, and lived subsequently in Americus, GA, Thomaston, GA, and finally Savannah, GA. 

He graduated from the University of Georgia School of Journalism in 1969, and holds a Master’s in Business Administration from Georgia Southwestern College. He served in the US Army from 1970 - 1972. He was an avid Georgia Bulldogs fan who enjoyed hunting, fishing, golf, and playing guitar. Above all, he was a loving family man.

Cliff is survived by his wife Marsha, his sons Brian and Adam and his wife Heather, his sister Suzanne Newman, his grandchildren Harley, Brantley, Kyndal, Hayden, and Shelby, and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be at 2:00 pm on Sunday, July 12 at Fox and Weeks Funeral Home Islands Chapel located at 4605 Highway 80 East, Savannah, GA 31410. Visitation will be followed by a funeral service at 3:00 pm. Burial will take place at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, at Bonaventure Cemetery.
